Founded in Johannesburg, South Africa

Born from the desire to develop and deliver superior embedded solutions.

2001

Customer Feedback Systems (CFS) Development

Designed Customer Feedback Systems utilized by major retailers globally to collect patron feedback.

2002

Vehicle GPS Tracking

Developed our first wired vehicle tracking device including hardware, firmware, and device management software.

2008

RICA Terminal Development

Designed and developed over 70,000 RICA terminals for SIM card subscriber registration across South Africa.

2009

Australian Office

Established a presence in Perth, Western Australia to expand our global reach.

2010

GPS Logbook

Introduced our end-to-end digital fleet management tracking and reporting solution, GPS Logbook.

2011

Wired GPS Tracking Portfolio

Introduced the G50, G52 Solar, G60, and G100 wired GPS vehicle and equipment tracking devices and established our reseller partner network.

2011

Device Management Platform Version 1: OEM Server

Released the first iteration of our device management platform, OEM Server, for configuring device behavior and task management over-the-air.

Telematics Guru

Launched our comprehensive white-label ready asset tracking platform, Telematics Guru.

First Generation: Battery-Powered GPS Trackers

Introduced the first generation of our battery-powered GPS asset tracking devices using Cellular 3G and Sigfox connectivity – the Remora, Oyster, and Yabby families.

2016

Telematics Guru Mobile App

Released the mobile application for Telematics Guru for enhanced user experience.

2017

USA Office

Established an office in the United States to better serve our North American partners.

2018

Introduction of LoRaWAN Family

Launched the Oyster, Yabby, and G62 for LoRaWAN, providing a robust solution for IoT asset tracking and low-power consumption using LoRaWAN networks.

Second Generation: Introduction of Cellular LTE-M (Cat-M1) and NB-IoT GPS Devices

One of the first manufacturers to introduce 4G LTE-M (Cat-M1) and NB-IoT connectivity into our GPS tracking range to enable longer battery life, more features, and lower hardware costs.

Bluetooth® Low Energy

Enhanced our battery-powered GPS range with Bluetooth® functionality to enable tagged asset and sensor monitoring applications.

Indoor/Outdoor Tracking with Edge Range and Location Engine

Introduction of the Yabby Edge for indoor/outdoor battery-powered asset tracking with cloud-based location solving, winning an IoT Evolution Product of the Year Award. Introduced Location Engine, our cloud-based location solver and data enrichment platform for enhanced power savings.

Third Generation: Battery-Powered GPS Advancements

Introduction of new component and firmware technologies to enhance battery life (over 5x of previous generation), setting new industry standards for longevity and performance.

Hawk Data Logger

Launched the Hawk, our multi-functional data logger and sensor hub for remote IoT sensor monitoring applications.
